Janette Archer has dedicated nearly five decades to the beauty industry, building a distinguished career as a professional makeup artist, permanent makeup specialist, and scalp micropigmentation artist. Her journey began in television, print, and editorial makeup, where she worked alongside leading photographers, production companies, modeling agencies, and celebrity clients before expanding her expertise into permanent cosmetics.

Janette's career began in professional makeup artistry, earning her certification from Elegance International Academy of Professional Makeup in Los Angeles in 1978, followed by esthetics training at Richard's Beauty College. She went on to work as a freelance makeup artist for television, print, and video productions before becoming a makeup instructor through California State University, Long Beach. In 1989, she founded Ambiance Esthetics, where she expanded her expertise into permanent cosmetics and began a lifelong passion for micropigmentation.
Dedicated to ongoing education, Janette has completed advanced training with some of the industry's most respected permanent makeup and scalp micropigmentation academies. Her certifications include SofTap Permanent Cosmetic Academy, the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, Evon Academy, Scalp MicroNation, and ScalpCo Academy. She continues to refine her techniques through advanced education to provide clients with the latest procedures and the highest standards of safety and artistry.
Before specializing in permanent makeup and scalp micropigmentation, Janette built an extensive career as a professional makeup artist for television, editorial, print, and commercial productions. Her experience working with photographers, production companies, modeling agencies, and clients from a wide range of industries developed the artistic precision and attention to detail that define her work today.
